Tintinnid ciliate

Planktonic ciliate from an unidentified species. The filamentous rays are rows of membranelles, which direct food close to the cell. Sample was collected by Tara Expeditions, recorded by Sebastien Colin and visualized by Stefan Günther & Gustavo de Medeiros at EMBL Heidelberg.
