Life in perspective - cover

Life in Perspective

Curiosity is the most powerful driving force for scientific discoveries. Since the beginning of interest in biology researcher build and ever since improve microscopes to see the small living things. Nowadays, modern microscopy techniques allow unprecedented spatial and temporal resolution of biological specimens, allowing to record an ever growing number of natural phenomena in three-dimensions. Yet still, the complexity of microscopic life is rarely visible in its full beauty. “Life in Perspective” attempts to explore creative ways of presenting 3D microscopy data in a series of events and for home experience. We use unique ways of refined visualization technologies never used for science purposes, whilst preserving their scientific value and information. Come and see.
