Widefield vs confocal

Quality images rock

Image quality in fluorescent microscopy is impaired by blurry images. Light scatters in tissues and at surfaces such that resulting images appear diffuse. By the design of light-sheet microscopes some of the diffusive light can be blocked by an aperture. As a consequence of our implementation of a dynamic aperture, image quality increases, imaging becomes faster and image post processing is simpler, just by a simple software update.
